CFTOD Administration Takes the First Step in Building Central Florida’s Premier Workplace

Lake Buena Vista, FL., January 5, 2024 – The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) issues the first of several policies in pursuit of building the premier workplace in Central Florida.

The CFTOD district administration has introduced a Block Pay policy for non-salaried staff in specific departments. This policy was enacted to ensure employees called to work outside regular business hours receive fair compensation.

District Administrator Glenton “Glen” Gilzean, Jr. said, “We value the dedication of our team, who serve our taxpayers with excellence. The District recognizes and acknowledges the profound contributions that facilitate a harmonious experience the millions of guests who visit us enjoy year-round.”
